Botanical ingredients for natural perfumery

Ingredients & Sourcing

The Earth's Most Sacred Botanicals

We travel to the source — to the valleys, forests, and fields where the world's most extraordinary plants are born — and bring their essence home.

What Goes Into Every Bottle

Natural perfumery is an act of translation. We take living plants — their resins, petals, bark, and roots — and render them into something you can carry with you. Every ingredient we use is chosen for its purity, its provenance, and its story.

Bulgarian Rose Otto

Rose Valley, Bulgaria
Heart noteFloral

Distilled from Rosa damascena petals harvested at dawn, when the flower's oil content is at its peak. It takes over 3,000 kilograms of petals to produce a single kilogram of pure rose otto — making it one of the most precious substances on earth.

On the Skin

Deeply romantic, honeyed, and luminous. Carries a warmth that deepens on the skin over hours.

Oud (Agarwood)

Assam, India
Base noteWoody / Resinous

Formed when the Aquilaria tree responds to a specific fungal infection, producing a dark, resinous heartwood over decades. True oud is extraordinarily rare — and extraordinarily complex, with hundreds of aromatic compounds.

On the Skin

Smoky, animalic, sweet, and ancient. No two batches are alike. A single drop can anchor an entire fragrance.

Jasmine Absolute

Grasse, France
Heart noteFloral

Jasmine grandiflorum flowers must be picked before sunrise, when their scent is most intense. Absolute extraction preserves the full aromatic complexity that steam distillation cannot — a rich, indolic, almost narcotic floral.

On the Skin

Sensual, warm, and intoxicating. Bridges floral and animalic registers with effortless grace.

Australian Sandalwood

Western Australia
Base noteWoody / Creamy

Australian sandalwood (Santalum spicatum) is ethically harvested from the ancient woodlands of Western Australia. Softer and drier than its Indian counterpart — clean, quietly woody, and deeply grounding — it brings a gentle warmth that settles beautifully on the skin.

On the Skin

Dry, smooth, and quietly meditative. Blends seamlessly with florals, resins, and spices, lending depth without heaviness.

Frankincense (Olibanum)

Dhofar, Oman
Base / Heart noteResinous / Balsamic

Harvested by making small incisions in the bark of Boswellia sacra trees, then collecting the hardened resin tears. Omani frankincense is considered the finest in the world — clean, bright, and sacred.

On the Skin

Citrusy, piney, and deeply spiritual. Carries centuries of ceremonial use in its molecular structure.

Neroli

Nabeul, Tunisia
Top / Heart noteCitrus / Floral

Steam-distilled from the blossoms of the bitter orange tree (Citrus aurantium). Named for an Italian princess who made it her signature scent in the 17th century. Neroli is one of the few ingredients that is simultaneously fresh and deeply complex.

On the Skin

Bright, honeyed, and slightly green. Lifts a fragrance's opening while leaving a soft floral trail.

Our Sourcing Ethics

Where We Source Matters

We source exclusively from local and ethical distillers — people who know their plants, honour their land, and take pride in what they produce.

01

Local Distillers

We work with small, independent distillers close to the source. Short supply chains mean fresher materials and a direct relationship with the people behind every drop.

02

Ethical Practices

Every supplier we partner with shares our commitment to fair treatment of workers and responsible stewardship of the land they cultivate.
