Growing up in Jamaica, surrounded by lush tropical landscapes, vibrant botanicals, and a culture deeply rooted in the healing power of plants, instilled an early and lasting reverence for natural ingredients. The island's rich flora — its herbs, flowers, and earthy woods — became the first classroom for understanding how nature nurtures the body and the spirit.
Founded by a seasoned laboratory scientist with almost 20 years of experience in biomedical sciences, Fragrance of Eden is where that lifelong connection to nature meets scientific precision. Our founder's deep understanding of cellular biology, combined with an enduring interest in preventive medicine, inspired a journey to create clean, intentional fragrances that support holistic well-being.

That same standard extends to the carrier itself: every formula is built on certified organic sugarcane alcohol, which makes up 70–80% of each bottle. It is the cleanest, purest base available — derived from organically grown sugarcane, not petroleum or synthetic ethanol.
No synthetic shortcuts
Synthetic fragrance compounds are the industry default because they are cheap and consistent. We reject them entirely. Natural essential oils are more complex, more nuanced, and more alive — and they behave differently on every person's skin, which is exactly the point.
